Berberian has recorded this little gem for Wergo. her vocal anthology entitled magnifiCathy: many voices of C.B. has been released twice, first on LP, and later on CD. i can drag this ‘song’ with ease out of the whole Wergo CD if necessary. but the whole programme is interesting, from Monteverdi’s La lettera amorosa through Debussy and Cage to Beatles’ Ticket To Ride, 3 Kurt Weill songs and Berberian’s own Stripsody.
