Surprised Revolution Ensemble’s other piece didn’t get a mention – as amazing a display of sheer virtuosity as I think I’ve ever witnessed! – but I imagine it’s virtually impossible to cover all the good stuff that happens on Shorts day. (I decided that I did have time to squeeze one last Shorts concert in after all, after the St Thomas’s one…and I was also grateful to find somewhere to (partially) dry off…)
