It’s no fewer than 40 years since the formation of BEAST – Birmingham ElectroAcoustic Sound Theatre, one of the leading organisations pioneering the creation and presentation of electronic music. To celebrate this milestone, next week Birmingham University will be hosting BEAST FEaST 2022, a four-day extravaganza of concerts, installations and talks, featuring such legends and luminaries as Jonty Harrison, Simon Emmerson, Natasha Barrett, François Bayle, Annette Vande Gorne, Bernard Parmegiani, Robert Normandeau, Pierre Alexandre Tremblay, Denis Smalley and Adrian Moore, among many, many others. It’s an enormously mouth-watering prospect, running from Tuesday 28 June until Friday 1 July.
